The Mighty Peace Teachers' Convention Association would like to remind teachers that while the displays in the gyms provide valuable teaching resources, they are not considered professional development and attending the displays is not the same as attending sessions. The Sandman Hotel is offering a special to teachers for convention.
Teachers' conventions are intended to raise awareness of and provide information about new approaches and instructional methods. Identifying trends and instilling pride in being a teacher are essential parts of teachers' convention.
The Mighty Peace Teachers' Convention does this every year for the approximately 1200 teachers that attend.
